This assignment provided support for a US based impact investor to develop a dedicated water sector infrastructure investment fund for emerging markets. The support included development of a strategic investment rationale and business plan, a pipeline of prospective investments in Africa, Asia and Latin America, a business review using financial modelling at the project and fund level, development of an ESG investment framework, and identification of prospective investors.
