This assignment involved the development of a report on the use of Voluntary Carbon Markets to support mobilisation of funding for water sector investment in emerging markets. The report identified the sources of emission reductions within the sector and how the carbon credits generated could be used to support investment within the sector and was presented at COP28 in December 2023.
